Toronto Maple Leafs head coach Sheldon Keefe spoke with the media after their 2-1 victory over the Boston Bruins in RD1 GM6 on Tuesday.

Keefe expressed his pride in his team’s performance, noting that they “did a great job of sticking to our game plan and executing our systems.” Keefe also praised his players for their resilience, as they were able to overcome a one-goal deficit in the third period to secure the victory.

The Leafs will now face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning in the second round of the playoffs. Keefe said that he is confident in his team’s ability to compete with the Lightning, but that they will need to be at their best.

“They’re a great team, but we’re confident in our ability to beat them,” Keefe said. “We just have to stay focused and play our game.”
