Catalan giants to face Sevilla in UEFA Super Cup clash
Barcelona have qualified for the 2015 UEFA Super Cup after winning the 2014-15 UEFA Champions League. The Catalan giants defeated Italian side Juventus 3-1 in the final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin, Germany, to secure their fifth European Cup title.
Luis Enrique's side took the lead in the fourth minute through Ivan Rakitić, and Luis Suárez doubled their advantage just before half-time. Juventus pulled a goal back through Álvaro Morata in the 55th minute, but Barcelona restored their two-goal cushion through Neymar in the 90th minute.
Barcelona will now face Sevilla in the UEFA Super Cup on August 11. Sevilla qualified for the Super Cup by winning the 2014-15 UEFA Europa League.
The UEFA Super Cup is an annual match between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. Barcelona have won the Super Cup four times, while Sevilla have won it once.
